Students are considered TARDY after 8:15 am. Parents must park and come inside to sign them in. There will be a warning bell at 8:10 am and then the final tardy bell at 8:15 am.

Students must be signed out before 2:45 pm (1:45 pm on Wednesday’s). Please make sure to have your ID when signing out student(s). Masks are required to enter the front office.

Parents on Campus

No Parents/Visitors On Campus during the 1st nine weeks per district

There will be BSE staff available to assist new students to class on the first day as well as the first week of school.

Absolutely no parents will be allowed in the cafeteria. Parents may eat at the picnic tables. DUE TO COVID19, THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

Parents are allowed to have lunch with their student. All parents must wait for child(ren) at the outside picnic tables. Please check with your child’s teacher for specific lunch times. DUE TO COVID19, THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

Parent pick-up and drop off

Grades 2-5 Car Riders:
-
Parents will turn left on Marshall Drive and then right on N. Shore Drive and enter the gate at the back of the school off of Norman Avenue. Parents are expected to use this area for drop off and pick up.

Students have been assigned a number which will be displayed on the car tag.

Car Rider tag should be displayed on the dash or on the rear view mirror for pick up. If you do not have a car rider tag, you will be asked to park and go to the front office. Please have your ID ready. Face masks are required to enter the front office.

Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade and Siblings:

Parents will enter the visitor parking lot off Griffin Road. Parents are expected to use this area for drop and pick up.

Bus riders & Daycare riders:

Students will receive a wrist band that will coincide with the bus they ride. This will be placed on their back packs. (Please do not remove these tags)

Absolutely NO CARS allowed in the bus loop.

For the safety of our students, LCS Transportation requires, that all Kindergarten students have a parent/guardian present at the bus stop before they will allow the student off the bus. LCS Transportation will make every effort to contact parents. If no one can be contacted, the student will be transported back to Beverly Shores Elementary.

ELC:

Students will receive a wristband that will be placed on their backpacks. (Please do not remove this tag) ELC and Walkers will be called last.

Transportation Changes:
-
During the first week or two of school it is important that transportation remains consistent in order for the students to become familiar with how they go home. If transportation changes are needed during the first week or two we prefer that you send an email or a note to your child’s teacher. If you need to call, please call by 2:45 pm (1:45 pm on Wednesday’s) to assure that both the student and teacher receive the message in a timely manner.
